Rabbi Mendy Ajzenszmidt

                            

Rabbi Mendy Ajzenszmidt grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Rabbi Mendy studied for 7 years in Yeshivot around the world, including Israel, USA, Canada and Australia. He received his Rabbinical Ordination/ Semicha at the Jewish Educational Leadership Institute in Miami, Florida.

Rabbi Mendy has been a Rabbi for over 13 years. He’s led communities in Vietnam, Cambodia, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Rabbi Mendy served as Rabbi and Director at Chabad Campus in 2018 together with his wife Rebbetzin Lifshy and their four children, Shaina Malka, Rivka. Rosie and Avremy and were in that role for 4 years. In that role he served as a chaplain at Universities across Melbourne. He was instrumental during that time to arrange many successful events for young adults including the largest Shabbat dinner in Australia which had 500 University students joining together. Rabbi Mendy serves as a committee member on the University of Melbourne’s new cross cognate Human Research Ethics Committee.
